Economic Development. The usability of bicycles has been proven in the developing world. More than anything, it is an economic development factor, because it allows individuals and small industries to be more efficient in what they do. By being able to transport more goods, more quickly; people have more time throughout their day to dedicate towards education, farming, or family. MOVEMENT BIKES wants to ensure the affordability of this invaluable product and thus serve as economic stimulus for local communities.

Accessibility. We want to massively mass-produces affordable and durable bicycles specifically for the developing world. We want to give access through Microfinance for all socioeconomic levels of the country.

Our long term vision is to increase the scale of production, and to redesign the bicycle as many times as necessary, to create a bicycle that can be sold for as little as $10. This audacious goal is the true goal of our company, because we envision affordable transportation for everyone. At the same time, we will not allow a compromise of the quality of the bicycle.
